1955 ~ 2017

Norine was born in 1955 toClifford and Norma Rognon.  She had 11 siblings and attended Bountiful Jr. HS.  She lived and worded in Salt Lake City and married Mr. Holzer.  She donated the the YMCA (2008).  

 

Her mother - Norma Rognon passed away November 30, 1995 after a valiant fight.  She was survived by her husband; 8 sons, Stan (Corrine), Longmont, Colorado.; Don (Chris), Layton; Charlie (Debbie), Anderson, Texas; Gene (Shelly), Hempstead, Texas; Roger (Julie), Tualatin, Oregon; Gerald (Marianne), Bountiful; Bill (Gwen) Salt Lake City; Clifton, San Louis Osbisbo, Calif.;4  daughters, Kathy (Mike) Wright, Bountiful; Laura (Rick) Smith, Bountiful; Noreen Holzer, Salt Lake; two sisters and one brother.We love you, Mom, We will miss you. Rest in peace.

Her father - Clifford Maurice Rognon left this earth peacefully on a beautiful September morning, Friday, September 10, 1999.  Born March 21, 1920, in Salt Lake City to Ebba Olivia Johnson and Peter M. Johnson. Raised by Charles Tenneson Rognon. Married his lifetime sweetheart Norma Charlesworth on July 30, 1941, in Elko, Nevada (their first real date). They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Norma passed away on November 30, 1995. Served his country honorably in World War II.Dad still looked forward to going to work each day at the Highland office of BYU where he greatly enjoyed many wonderful friendships. He treasured the moments spent with his 12 children and many grandchildren. Dad possessed a contagious sense of humor and was a very compassionate man.
He is survived by eight sons and four daughters, Charles T. (Deborah), College Station, TX; Stan (Corine), Cheyenne, WY; William (Gwen), Taylorsville; Donald (Chris), Layton; Butch (Marianne), Bountiful; Roger (Julie), Tualatin, OR; Gene (Shelley), Hempstead, TX; Clifton, San Luis Obispo, CA; Linda (Tony) Speth, Hyrum; Kathy (Mike) Wright, No. Salt Lake; Norine Holzer, Salt Lake City; Laura (Rick) Smith, Bountiful. Also survived by 35 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.  
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Myrtle and Margarite, wife Norma, and granddaughter Theresa.
A private memorial service was held on Sunday, September 12, 1999.  (Deseret News obituary 9.13.99)
