Glendon W. Paget  1955 - 1999

Glendon W. Paget, age 43, died February 20, 1999 of a heart attack while doing one of the things he loved. He was with friends snowshoeing in the Colorado mountains.

He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 16, 1955 to George William and Vera Woodall Paget and raised in Centerville, Utah Glendon's love for people was shown in so many ways; especially by his desire to see people happy which he did with his great sense of humor. He served an LDS mission in New Zealand and was an active Elder in the LDS Marston Lake First Ward. He loved life and the Gospel of Jesus Christ and was an inspiration to all of those who knew him.

He graduated from Viewmont High School in 1973 and attended the University of Utah. He received his B.S. in Business Administration and his M.S. in Management Information Systems from Kennedy Western University. He received the IBM Visionary Award and the William Olster Award for excellence.

Glendon's great example and love for people also made him very successful in his career and gave him the opportunity to travel all over the world. He was a long-time employee of American Airlines. At the time of his death, he was Sales Director for the Rocky Mountain Region with ARIS, a company of IT Consulting Corporation, residing in Denver, Colorado.

Survived by his father and mother, George and Vera Paget; brother, Sidney (Lynette) Paget; sisters, Verna Joy (Bob), Rose Mary (Dennis) Lindberg, Lavina (Brian) Duffy, Moana Carol (Andree) Blietschau, and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all of us.

CHANGE OF FUNERAL SERVICE

Funeral services will be held at the Centerville Canyon LDS Ward, 160 South 300 East, Centerville at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 1999. There will be a viewing at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Thursday evening, February 25, 1999 and Friday from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at the church prior to services. Burial following services in the Centerville City Cemetery. The family wishes to express our appreciation to Carol, of Carolina in the Pines, a special friend in Dillin, Colorado. A trust has been set up in memory of Glendon W. Paget at Zions Bank, 200 East Pages Lane, Centerville, Utah. 84014.
