Danny Martin 1955-2001

Daniel Howard Martin, age 45, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2001 at his home in North Salt Lake.

Born August 31, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Howard and Lucille Carter Martin. Married Cindy Carter Jan. 22, 1977 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Survived by his wife, Cindy; children, Travis (Kristin), and grandson Gunner, the light of his life, Bountiful; Quincy and Blake, North Salt Lake; parents, Howard and Lucille Martin, West Bountiful; brothers and sisters, Debbie (Gregg) Haycock, Hyrum; Beverly Martin, West Bountiful; Bennett (Gaye) Martin, West Bountiful; Steve (Julie) Martin, West Bountiful; Cindy (Blair) Wood, Farmington; Tracy (Lori) Martin, Bountiful.

Dan will be missed by his many friends and loved ones. He has touched many lives with his large and giving heart. He continued giving even after his death. He lovingly volunteered his time and talents in youth baseball and hockey and sharing his love of horses and horsemanship.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 11, 2001 at 12:00 noon at the West Bountiful 1st Ward Chapel, 311 North 800 West. Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Saturday morning from 10:45-11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
