John Edwin Law 1955 - 1989

Born May 21, 1955 in Boise Idaho
Died May 23, 1989 from cancer.  He was a very talented silk screen printer.
Buried in Mt. Tamalpais, Marin, CA

John Edwin Law was born in Boise, Idaho on May 21, 1955. He joined four sisters and a brother. He attended the first grade of school in Boise, moving to Bountiful where he attended Hannah Holbrook elementary, South Davis Junior High and Viewmont High School, graduating in 1973. He was active in scouts and Young Adults. He served a mission for the LDS Church going to Bangkok, Thailand.

After returning to Bountiful he attended Utah State University for one year then transferring to the University of Utah. He took a dance class at the U, joining a dance group that performed all over Salt Lake Valley, Southern Idaho and Wyoming. They went to Arizona and performed for the Miss Arizona Pageant.

He worked for Western Screen Graphic in Salt Lake City learning to be a silk screen printer.  In 1985 he moved to San Francisco, California where he worked for a Commercial silk screening printing firm creating large banners for conventions, sporting venues, etc.

He was very creative and talented in his work. John enjoyed fishing, camping, water skiing, bowling, snow skiing and photography. He always had a laugh and joke to share with his family and friends. His two favorite holidays were Halloween and Christmas.

He passed away on May 23, 1989 in the Kaiser Foundation Hospital in San Francisco after a yearlong battle with cancer.

He will be missed very much. He is survived by his parents, Therol and Darlene Law, brother, Wayne (Candy); sisters, Janell (Willis) Scott, Catherine (Dave) Lyman, Suzanne (Lysle) Heap and Louana (Steve) Bullock and several nieces and nephews.
