Jon Brett Jensen  1955-2006

Jon Brett Jensen 1955 ~ 2006 Jon Brett Jensen passed away peacefully on February 23, 2006 with his family by his side. Jon was born October 1, 1955 to Raymond and Patricia Rogers Jensen. He grew up in Bountiful and attended local schools graduating from Viewmont High in 1973. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Jon fulfilled a mission to Brisbane, Australia. He held many positions in the church both in Bountiful and Las Vegas and loved the Lord with all his heart. Because of that love he worked hard on his genealogy and enjoyed many hours researching his ancestors. He also enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing with his family. Jon married Linda Marie Amott on March 9, 1979 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Their lives were blessed with five beautiful children. Jon is survived by his wife and children, Jon Ryan, Kelly (Scott Lallis), Jodi, Matt and Mark; his mother Pat (Tom Harris); brother, Bryan (Camille); sister, Julie (Mike Smith); and many family members who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond L. Jensen. The family wishes to thank Adam, Jim, Erin and Jeri as well as the team at Avalon Care Center for the loving way they took care of Jon. Memorial services will take place Monday, February 27, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Orchard 2nd Ward, 3707 South 800 East, Bountiful with a viewing the evening of Sunday, February 26, 2006 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Monday morning from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services.
