

Jeffrey K. Jacobson 1955 - 2001
Jeffrey K. Jacobson passed away peacefully on August 2, 2001. Jeff was a wonderful husband, father, brother, son, uncle and friend. He always put people first. He loved playing bass guitar, flying and Harleys. We love him and will miss him greatly.
Jeff loved his career as a Law Enforcement Officer. The Farmington Police Department became his second family, He always had a hunger for adventure and challenge. Whenever a situation arose requiring law enforcement, Jeff was there. Jeff had planned to retire as Chief of Police in December 2001. He will be remembered for his wit, his sense of humor, his way with people, love of animals, and insatiable desire for knowledge.
He was born July 8, 1955 in Salt Lake City. He is survived by his wife, Susan Hankins Jacobson; daughter, Kallie, son, Taylor, parents, R. Stan Jacobson, Salt Lake City and Dixie Kremer Jacobson, Bountiful; sister, Jamie Cathcart (Terry), Farmington and brother John R. Jacobson (Sherri), West Bountiful, and many loved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bountiful 24th Ward, 720 East 550 North, Bountiful. Friends may call Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main. Private family viewing will be held prior to funeral services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
