James Richard Hancock III

James Richard Hancock III, 64, of Centerville, Utah passed away December 7, 2019 in Bountiful, Utah. He is the son of James Richard Hancock Jr., and Marilyn Gay Bangerter. Jimmy enjoyed reading, shopping, and having conversations with people -- he was especially kind and attentive to the elderly. Family was important to him -- he remembered birthdays and other events that were important to his family. He was genuinely interested in the lives of his living relatives and he often expressed recollection of those who had passed on. We are comforted in our belief that he is experiencing a joyful reunion with loved ones who have passed on, many of whom he has missed for years. He suffered with poor health much of his life, but rarely complained, did his best to be independent, and asked very little of anyone.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the Centerville  Cemetery, 650 East 400 South.
