Ronald Pond Breinholt, 33, died Friday,S ept. 16, 1988 at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City of Complications from Hodgkins cancer.
He was born Aug. 18, 1955 in Murray, son of Clare and Cleo Pond Breinholt. He married Karen Boothe March 17, 1977 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Graduated from Viewmont High School and Utah Technical School of Salt Lake City. While there he served as president of the LDS Student Association.
A contractor by trade, he owned and operated the Rotec Construction Company and built homes in the Orem, Spanish Fork and Bountiful areas.
He was a High Priest in the LDS Church, served an LDS mission to Tulsa, Okla. And served in many other capacities, including bishop’s counselor, Elders Quorum president, Young Men’s president and scoutmaster. An Eagle Scout, he completed Wood Badge training and received his beads.
He was a talented story teller and loved the outdoors, music and sports, especially basketball.
He is survived by his wife, three sons and two daughters, Coby, Jesse, Kevin, Kela, and Cathy, all of Orem, his mother of West Bountiful.
Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters, Alden K. Breinholt, San Angelo, Tex.; Neil C. Breinholt, Mrs. Kent (Barbara) Palmer, both of West Bountiful, Mrs. Albert (Joyce) Pakradounian, Logan, His father preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held in the Orem Lakeridge Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.

Cleo Pond Breinholt
Our Beloved Mom and Grandmother Cleo Pond Breinholt passed away, with her loving family around her, July 6, 2003 in West Bountiful, Utah. Born September 3, 1917 in Bench Idaho to Rufus Roland Pond and Cora Stocks.
Served a LDS Mission to the Western States 1944-1946. Married Oliver Clare Breinholt March 26, 1948 in the Idaho Falls Temple. She graduated from BYU in teaching and influenced many students. Her special love was teaching her home bound students. She had a great talent for writing and inspired many with her poems and stories. Her home was always open to others and she became a mother to many more than just her own children.
She had a great love for her ancestors and spent many years compiling family histories. She brought to life her ancestors for her family. She had great faith and her prayers were a great source of strength for her family. She had a great love for the Savior and had a personal testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ.
Survived by her children, Neil (Jill) Breinholt, West Bountiful, UT, Alden (Karen) Breinholt Fort Worth, TX, Barbara (Kent) Palmer West Bountiful, UT. Daughter-in-law, Karen (Terry) Breinholt Foster Orem, UT, Son-in-law, Albert (Katherine) Pakradounian Logan, UT. Brother, Maxwell K (Meryl) Pond, North Salt Lake, UT, Sister, Glennis (LeRoy) Packham, Fairfield, ID. And 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Son, Ronald Breinholt, daughter, Joyce Pakradounian, Sister, Roma Funk and Brother, Roland Pond. Mom we love you always, Until we meet again.
Funeral services held Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at the West Bountiful 6th Ward Chapel, 1750 N. 900 W., West Bountiful. Interment – Bountiful City Cemetery.
